Innovation Summit October 6-8, 2018
Join the leaders in health facility design for the Patient-Centered Design Innovation Summit, October 6-8, 2018 in Charleston, SC. In partnership with the MUSC Center for Transformation, we will collaborate with design practitioners, researchers, clinicians and patients to develop solutions for health facility accommodations.
Lessons From Child Life
The focus of the summit will be to learn strategies used by MUSC’s Child Life Department for engaging patients and families and meeting their needs. With grant funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Institute will activate its Patient - Centered Design Student Alliance, an academic association established to enable a multidisciplinary group of students in health care and design professions to prepare to use patient - centered design strategies in their careers.
